Volunteer with Scouts

Beaver Section

Our Beaver section needs your help! We meet every Friday evening from 5 pm to 6:30 pm, but we've lost a couple of leaders over the last year and we're short on help. Without extra support, we may have to cancel some Beavers meetings.

We're looking for volunteers of any age, from 18 years to retirement age. Whether you're a student, a working professional, a stay-at-home parent, or someone enjoying retirement, we'd love to have you join us. Everyone has something valuable to offer, and we welcome people from all walks of life.

If you're interested in helping out, there are plenty of things you can get involved with as a volunteer. Here are just a few examples:

• Planning and leading activities
• Assisting with crafts and games
• Supervising outdoor activities
• Helping with administrative tasks

Whatever your skills and interests may be, we can find a way for you to use them to benefit the Beavers. And as a volunteer, you'll also get to take part in the activities yourself! This includes things like day trips to Brownsea Island, camping, kayaking, hiking, and other outdoor adventures. It's a great way to stay active, learn new skills, and have fun.

If you're not quite sure whether volunteering with the Beavers is right for you, why not come to a meeting to see how it works? We'd be happy to show you around, introduce you to the Beavers and other volunteers, and answer any questions you may have.

To get in touch and find out more please contact us using the form below. We look forward to hearing from you!

Let's make sure these kids get the chance to have some fun and learn new skills. Thank you!
